Why we started The Snuggle Shack

Let me start with Dogs might be a small part or large part of our lives, but to them we are their whole live!!

Every dog deserves a home-away-from-home! A place where they can feel safe, loved, and yes… snuggled. That’s exactly why we created The Snuggle Shack.

Our journey started like many of yours probably did: with a deep love for our own dogs. Our home has always been filled with wagging tails, muddy paw prints, belly rubs, and unconditional love. Over time, it became clear that we weren’t just creating a warm environment for our pets....we were building a little sanctuary. And we realized… why not share that same love and comfort with others?

The Snuggle Shack was born out of a desire to give pet parents peace of mind when they’re away from them knowing their fur baby isn’t just being “watched,” but cared for like family. We’re not a kennel. We’re not a facility. We’re a home. And that makes all the difference.

This is a family-run labor of love, built right here in Rincon, Georgia. You’ll often find us outside playing fetch, inside curled up with the pups, or making sure every guest has exactly what they need to feel at ease this includes quiet nap spot or a playmate to romp with.

We believe snuggles are healing, happiness comes on four legs, and that dogs are more than pets… they’re soulmates.
